Hey. Hey guess what? THIS IS FILM. I haven't shot film since college. Been happily digital-only for two decades. Thought I always would be. But the last couple of years, picking up the camera just made me... TIRED. Because I knew I would have to edit.

And my editing program is my toxic ex.

Alas, Adobe Lightroom. It has been completely neutered. Adobe says it is 'more condensed,' 'user friendly,' blah blah blah. I have tried and TRIED to get used to the new version. All my automations? Useless. I have to pry files from my cards like teeth. It's awful.

And I just. Missed photography. Being excited, being surprised. So: back around to film. A second-hand Nikon from 2006. (Thanks, Purnell family!) The anticipation of pointing, shooting, having to WAIT. (The kids in my life are FASCINATED by having no screen. Honestly, so am I.) I don't want perfect. I want joy. Weird stuff. Happy coincidences.

More shots! :D
