Plants make GREAT road trip buddies. Keep the windows cracked, let me choose all the music, never once ask 'Are we there yet?'. :P

Finally reached Molly and Zach's new house, got immediately jumped on by their GIANT DOGS Booker and Darcy. Perfect end to the day. I mean, is it really a road trip if you don't get slobbered on by a Best Boi???



The week was spent settling the plants into their new home, assuring Molly she would not kill them. (Probably!) Also sharing Birb Facts with Zach as he tried to convince the local mockingbird to Be His Friend. There was much hiking and exploring. Despite complaints from my foot, we managed to see at least TWO whole trees and 4 1/2 birbs.

With so many art supplies packed for 'The Move', I've fallen back in love with colored pencils. Much easier to use in a car than watercolors. Blending takes more work, but they'll get there. Had a grand time practicing on mountains and the Void Which Is Mr. Darcy.
